Matt Bermudez

Matt Bermudez

Guitar Teacher

Matt Bermudez has been playing and teaching in the Long Island music scene for nearly 25 years. A multi-instrumentalist on guitar, bass, and tuba, he is a member of several groups including Chain Reaction, La Sonora, 495 Latin Orchestra, Latinology and Milagro Santana Tribute Band. Matt studies many different styles of music and also works as a theater and session musician and a music arranger.

Joseph Pierre-Artist

Guitar Teacher

Joseph has been in the music business for over 30 years. As a session guitarist and bassist, Joseph has played, recorded and taught some of the biggest names in the business. He received his BA from Manhattan School of Music and his MA from SUNY Fredonia. Joseph also holds post master degrees from Yale, Berkeley, Eastman, University of Michigan, University of Singapore, and the University of Hong Kong for Science and Technology. He has recently published his guitar method (The Guitar Sensei) both in hardcover and video series.

Michael O'Rourke

Michael O’Rourke

Drum Teacher

Michael O’Rourke is a drummer from the Suffolk County area who loves to play gigs, teach students, and write music. He started playing in the fourth grade school band, played percussion through high school and college, and began playing gigs with various bands during college. He has an eclectic range of styles from funk to metal, and jazz to classic rock and jam bands. You can find him performing all over Long Island from Jones Beach to Montauk, and from Meschutt Beach to Bobbique in Patchogue.
